Our Approach:
We focus our content on the intents, issues and solutions that underlie or provide the framework for the specific strategies contained within the Standard, because in our experience this helps students apply their knowledge to specific questions and ultimately their work as WELL APs, as opposed to spending time memorizing various standards, thresholds or requirements within the Standard. That said, you will need to know these metrics, and to the extent they are not included in the Embedded Content, you will want to create flashcards or other supportive study materials to make sure you have enough of a grasp on this information to pass the exam.
As a small business, we also want to help reduce cost barriers to becoming a WELL AP, which is why our course is priced significantly lower than other options.
Another reason to love our course? The content is recorded and always available to you. Enroll now, and you can re-review the videos and text as many times as you need to, as you prepare for the exam.
This course is for you if...
- You are short on time and want a quick summary of each Concept and at least five sample questions per Concept.
- You are comfortable assessing your remaining learning needs and studying on your own and preparing additional study materials.
- You want to support a small, diverse business!
This course also includes additional articles, resources and case studies, to supplement your learning.

Should you take this course?
We want you to be thrilled with your experience taking our courses. Before you decide to purchase this course, here are a few things you should consider:
- Your purchase of this course includes an introductory module and 10 additional modules, one for each Concept. Each module contains (1) video content that is 30 - 40 minutes in length, (2) PDFs of the slides for reference and further study (note that PDFs of the slides cannot be downloaded, you can only view and review them within the Teachable platform), and (3) at least five example, multiple choice questions per Concept (at least 50 total questions within the course).
- This course is designed for busy students and professionals who are comfortable assessing their own learning needs and gaps, and studying on their own. This is why this course is priced appropriately for a higher-level experience. You will need to dig deeper into the content and create your own additional study materials (outlines, flashcards, etc.). We highly encourage you to review the Example Curriculum (above) to get a sense of the content.
- Everyone learns at a different pace, but as a general guideline based on our Beta testing, you should expect to spend about 10 - 12 hours to get through the content within this course (10 - 12 hours includes note-taking and re-reviewing content and questions). The videos alone total just over six hours. The additional amount of time you need to spend studying on your own depends on you.
- This course is not eligible for Continuing Education of any kind.
- We expect that the course will stay live until it is no longer relevant (a new version of the WELL Building Standard is released) or for at least six months after your purchase, whichever comes sooner. If you do not pass the exam, this will leave you time to review the materials and continue your studying. If, for some technological or other financial reason this timeline changes, we will give our students reasonable notice.
- This course is only available in English and all materials within the course are in English.
- This course is a study aid, we cannot and do not guarantee or warrant that you will pass the WELL AP exam. Whether or not you pass is completely up to you.
- This course was created and is provided by a small, diverse-owned business. We are proud to be a Certified Women Business Enterprise (Washington State) and LGBT Business Enterprise (National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce). We appreciate your support!
