Learn how to study for the WELL AP Exam from the 2022 Educator of the year!

Want to join the movement to create heathy, inclusive spaces?

We designed this course with you in mind!

This course was designed to crate a middle ground resource that falls between a high-level study guide and an expensive, comprehensive program. Our WELL AP Exam Prep course is great for folks who have some sustainability / healthy buildings experience (perhaps a LEED AP or other credential) and just need some guidance and structure to frame their studying.

For many students, it can be intimidating to know where to start.

Our course provides students with the basics, key insights into exam format and preparation, and a module structure that tracks the ten Concepts, to help organize your studying.

If you are looking for an efficient, cost-effective alternative, keep reading!

Included in the course:

- Six hours of recorded, instructional videos led by a WELL AP and Faculty and the International WELL Building Institute's 2022 Educator of the Year. Study at your own pace and re-review the videos and text as needed.

Should you take this course?

We want you to be thrilled with your experience taking our courses. Before you decide to purchase this course, here are a few FAQs and things to consider:

What is included in my purchase of the course?

This course includes an introductory module and 10 additional modules, one for each Concept, plus a "bonus" module that overviews WELL Certification and WELL Portfolio. Each Concept module contains (1) video content that is 30 - 40 minutes in length, (2) PDFs of the slides for reference and further study (note that PDFs of the slides cannot be downloaded, you can only view and review them within the Teachable platform), and (3) at least five example, multiple choice questions per Concept (at least 50 total questions within the course).

Who is the course designed for?

This course is designed for busy students and professionals who are comfortable assessing their own learning needs and gaps, and studying on their own. This is why this course is priced appropriately for a higher-level experience. You will need to dig deeper into the content and create your own additional study materials (outlines, flashcards, etc.). We highly encourage you to review the Example Curriculum (above) to get a sense of the content.

How long will it take me to complete the course?

Everyone learns at a different pace, but as a general guideline based on our Beta testing, you should expect to spend about 10 - 12 hours to get through the content within this course (10 - 12 hours includes note-taking and re-reviewing content and questions). The videos alone total just over six hours. The additional amount of time you need to spend studying on your own depends on you.

Can I earn continuing education for taking the course?

No, this course is not eligible for Continuing Education of any kind.

How long will the course be available?

We expect that the course will stay live until it is no longer relevant (a new version of the WELL Building Standard, and the WELL AP exam is released) or for at least six months after your purchase, whichever comes sooner. If you do not pass the exam, this will leave you time to review the materials and continue your studying. If, for some technological or other financial reason this timeline changes, we will give our students reasonable notice.

Can I learn on the go?

Yes! The teachable platform, which hosts our course, recently updated the teachable app for iOS (link here). Students can access all purchased content, stream content on the go, resume course progress (syncs automatically with web version), navigate between lessons, take quizzes, and more.

At this time, the teachable app is only available on iOS, not Android.

Can I download the course content?

No, for a variety of reasons, students cannot download a copy of the slides, videos or other materials. However, you can access these materials as often as you need to via the course webpage or the teachable app.

What language(s) is the course available in?

Currently, this course is only available in English and all materials within the course are in English. All videos include closed-captioning.

Anything else I should know about the course?

Glad you asked! Two things to keep in mind:

  • This course is a study aid, we cannot and do not guarantee or warrant that you will pass the WELL AP exam. Whether or not you pass is completely up to you.
  • This course was created and is provided by a small, diverse-owned business. We are proud to be a Certified Women Business Enterprise (Washington State) and LGBT Business Enterprise (National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce). We appreciate your support!
